The role of the Travel Specialist is to book cruises and hotels, sell travel products such as scheduled and charter flights, car hire and travel insurance to Members.

This job will suit a travel agent who wants to concentrate their career on providing outstanding service.

Skills/Experience required

Qualifying Competencies:
• Fluency in Swedish is essential together with a knowledge of Norwegian and Danish. In addition a high proficiency in English is also required.
• Candidates must have experience in International travel
• Experience of having worked with a CRS System - Sabre/Galileo/Amadeus
• Excellent communications, interpersonal and organisation skills required
• Strong customer service/sales skills with the ability to influence others
• Candidates should have the ability to work on their own initiative and work effectively under pressure
• At least 1 years experience as a Travel Consultant, in a sales/target-driven travel environment using a CRS system
• Knowledge of the travel industry, charter and scheduled flights
• Knowledge of the airline carriers and the destinations served by each
• Previous experience with Windows-based software products a necessity

This is an outbound calling role that is targeted on helping club members to get the most out of their holidays.

Candidates need to have some previous sales experience - preferably travel related - and be fluent in Swedish with a knowledge of the other Scandinavian languages.

Salary: €20,500 + commission + €2,540 language premium per year.

Full relocation for the successful candidates.

Relocation package: Flight to Cork, 12 nights accommodation in a local Hotel, Per Daiem of €13 for the first 30 days

My client is one of the worlds largest, most professional and respected outsourcing businesses.

Their UK base is in Belfast and, from there; a multinational team supports the customers of many very large brands – and have a lot of fun in a fast paced and dynamic atmosphere.

To qualify to apply you will need:

1) High school education

2) 3+ months experience in a call centre

3) Fluency in the required language

4) Good IT experience. Word, Excel, etc

5) Immediate availability

Your job will be to support customers through telephone (inbound and outbound) chat and email.

In return you will be paid between £13,520 and £15,000 + bonus and benefits where applicable.

The company will pay for your flight and accommodate you in a hotel free of charge for the first 4 nights and you will be helped to find permanent accommodation.
